Repeat Prescriptions

Repeat prescriptions are for medicines already agreed with the Doctors. If you have not had a medication from us before, you must see the Doctor to discuss your requirements. There are several ways to obtain your prescription.

Please allow 48 hours, excluding weekends and Bank Holidays, for your request to be processed. Any problems please telephone the surgery.

At Reception

By filling in a repeat prescription slip or by ticking the items you require on your repeat prescription counterfoil. You will need to allow two full working days to process the prescription request before collection. Current / Acute prescriptions (i.e. an item only issued once before) may take longer and you may be asked to make an appointment your Doctor.

Please ensure all details including the full name, date of birth and phone number are clearly marked on the prescription request.

General Data Protection Act

On the 25/05/2018 the "GENERAL DATA PROTECTION ACT" comes into force.  (Replacing the DATA PROTECTION ACT).  This is to protect the data we hold on you.  If you would like somebody else to collect your prescription they will need to quote your EMIS number.  This can be found on the top RIGHT hand side of the WHITE part of your prescription.  Your representative must be over the age of 16.  More details of the GDPR can be found here on the website (Full information on the Home page) or at the surgery.
