Appointments

The new appointment system which we started in June of this year seems to have been well received, as a fairer system for all our patients. We have made submit a request easier to see on our website and we would welcome any other suggestions you might have to improve the system.

Staff Practice News

I am sorry to have to inform you that after 17 years being a GP at Violet Lane Medical Practice

Dr Paris is leaving, his last day being Friday 29th December 2023.

He has been a main stay of the practice and will be very sorely missed by his colleagues and his patients, but he feels after 17 years he needs a change and we hope you respect his decision, which has not been an easy one for him to make.

Our patients are known for their generosity with Christmas/ leaving gifts for members of the practice team. If you wish to give a gift to Dr Paris he is requesting that you please give a donation to Crisis and donate to their Christmas appeal. Just type in Crisis on the internet and their donation page pops up. Please do not send him any personal gifts.

We know this will come as a shock to you all, as it has to us but we respect his decision and wish him well for the future.

The practice is looking to recruit new staff.

 

Social Prescriber

Can we remind you that if you need help or advice with social issues, such as a befriending service, help with completing forms, our social prescriber Margaret, may be able to help you, just ask at reception and they will give her your contact details.

We would like to take this opportunity to wish you all a very happy Christmas and a healthy & happy 2024.
