Upcoming updates towards services
Extended Access Service
We are happy to inform that, “Extended access service” also known as “Out of Hours” is starting at Violet Lane Medical Practice. Which means appointments will be available for Tuesday evening till 8PM and Saturday’s. For more information, please contact reception.
Flu Season knocking the door
As season changes, to support your health, we have few of the following vaccines will be available and provided to the eligible patients. Surgery will be contacting to the eligible patients with specific details. Please click on the link for more details.
RSV Vaccine
The RSV vaccine is recommended if:
- you're pregnant – the vaccine is recommended during every pregnancy (from 28 weeks onwards) to help protect your baby after they're born.
- you're aged 75 to 79.
- RSV Vaccine
Flu Vaccine
- Most eligible adults will be able to get the flu vaccine October 2025.
- This may be later than you've had the vaccine before, but it means you'll have the best protection when flu is most widespread.
- Flu Vaccine
Some people start getting invitation for their vaccination from September 2025, as per their eligibility including if:
- you're pregnant (especially if you're near to your due date) – it's important to get vaccinated before giving birth to help protect yourself and your baby for the first few months of their life.
- you're due to have treatment that will weaken your immune system (such as chemotherapy) – the vaccine may be given before treatment starts because it works better if given when your immune system is stronger.
- Pneumococcal Vaccine
The pneumococcal vaccine is recommended for.
- Babies
- Older people
- people at higher risk of getting seriously ill from pneumococcal infections.
Note – If you are not eligible and would like to get flu jab done, you need to make cash payment for this. Please ask reception for charges.
