We hope all is well with you. 

Firstly, we would like to wish you all Happy Summer, we hope you are enjoying the sunshine. In this letter we would like to inform you about the few updates at the surgery and the Services. 

New Service Update

  • Social Prescribing Service - Get a Helping Hand!! When daily life gets in a way of improving your health, we can help you tackle your problems and feel better. If you think this service could help you, please call us and we will book you an appointment with our Wellbeing Social Prescribing Link Worker. Who can help with social service claims, form filling, entitlement, and social wellbeing.
  • There is new Pharmacy First scheme available, which you can referred to deal with your non-urgent conditions. 

Updates on Practice Staff 

  • Unfortunately, Dr Sivaperiya Meinerikanda left the practice at the end of May after 10 years at the surgery. We wish her best for her future endeavour. We have New GP starting with us. As per below details. 
    • Thursday and Friday 
      • Dr Linda Orazulume (Female)
  • Targeted Lung Health Checks – The practice has signed up to take part in the NHS England funded programme to diagnose lung cancer at an early stage. Patients aged between 55-74 who are recorded as a current of former smoker may be contacted by phone to take part if they wish.
